Ingredients:

1/2 Cup  Moong dal(yellow/ green)
1/4 Cup Chana dal
1/4 Cup Udad dal(white)(optional)6-7 green chillies
2-4 Garlic cloves
1/2 inch Ginger
1/2 tbs Cumin/Jeera
pinch of asefoetida/Hing
Salt as per taste
2 tbsp coriander finely chopped
oil for frying

Method:

Wash and soak all the daals for 6-7 hours, drain water. take all the ingredients except oil and coriander, grind it to grainy paste(not fine), you can use 2-3 tbs water to get work done. now mix the coriander and mix well. Heat oil on medium high heat, slide the pakoda using fingers or spoon into oil, and fry till golden brown. do not overheat oil, pakodas will burn from outside and will be undercooked from inside.

Enjoy hot with ketchup, tamarind chutney or curd/dahi .. 🙂
