shikran

Kelyache shikran is one of the maharashtrian dessert which we can eat during fast/upwas or with roti also. It is very simple & easy recipe with just few ingredients.
Ingredients:
1 ripe Banana
1 Cup milk boiled and cooled
1 tsp sugar or as per taste
1-2 tsp desi ghee/clarified butter/sajuk tup
pinch of cardamom powder
Chopped almonds
1-2 strands of saffron

Method:
Peel and cut banana into small pieces, add milk, sugar, cardamom powder, add ghee and mix well. Garnish with chopped almonds and saffron. keep in refrigerator for 30 min and serve chilled with puri, poli or just as it is.

Tip:
You can eat hot too. Just add the hot milk and skip the refrigeration.
