Mattha… After listening the just the name,may mouth is watering and feeling the coolness :). It is a refreshing drink in hot weather, it can be used as best home remedies for certain ailments like piles, diarrhoea, jaundice and dysfunctions of liver and spleen.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup curd/dahi
1 cup cool water
1 tsp coriander leaves finely chopped
1 tsp mint leaves/Pudina
1/2 tsp roasted cumin(coarsely grounded)
1/2- 1 tsp sugar
salt as per taste

Method:

In container or mixure blend the curd for a minute, add water, salt, sugar and blend it again. add grounded cumin powder. Crush mint and coriander until mushy. add to buttermilk and mix well.

Serve cool with or after meal.

Tip:
You can simply give tadka with mustard, cumin and coriander leaves and mix well .. mattha is ready in a simple way!
