1 King fish/Cat fish(or any fish u like) cut into medium pieces
2-3 Cloves of Gralic
1/2 Inch Ginger
1/2 Tsp Turmeric
2 Tsp or more red chilli powder
2 Tsp coriander-cumin powder
Pinch of Asefoetida
2 Tsp lemon juice
salt as per taste
1 Tsp Oil
Preheat oven at 400°F/200°C.
Wash the pieces of fish and drain all water. Make ginger garlic paste, In a bowl take all the pieces, add turmeric, salt, coriander- cumin powder asefoetida, red chilli powder and ginger garlic paste. Apply to all pieces, add lemon juice, oil & toss the fish. Set aside for 30 min or more.
Grease a baking pan using 2-4 drops of oil, place the pieces and bake for 10 minutes, now change the sides of all pieces and again bake for 6-7 min or until the fish is done. after the fish done, put oven on broiler at 450°F and bake for 2-3 min, its makes the fish crispy.
Garnish with Coriander leaves, onion. Sprinkle some lemon juice and serve hot.
