This dish is rich in taste, specially for fasting people 🙂
4-5 small potatoes(approx.. 250-300 gm)
3-4 Tbsp sugar (or as per your taste)
2-3 Tbsp ghee/ Clarified butter
Handful of dryfruits (raisins, almond, cashews)
1 ½ milk
1 Tsp cardamom powder
Pinch of keasar soaked in2 Tbsp warm milk
Wash and boil potatoes for 12-15 min or till completely cooked. Let it Cool and peel off the skin, Mash potatoes. In a pan heat ghee, add mashed potatoes and stir continuously. Fry till it gets nice golden color and ghee separates from sides (you have to be patient as it takes little more time).
Once it gets golden color, add milk and mix well till all milk gets absorb. Add sugar, dry fruits and cardamom powder, mix well. Now add saffron infused milk give it a stir.
Garnish with some dry fruits and kesar and serve hot.
