a delicious, restaurant style paneer recipe….
250 Gm paneer (washed and cut into cubes)
½ Green/red capsicum chopped into cube
1 finely chopped Onion
¾ red tomato, finely chopped
1 Bay leaf
½ Tsp cumin seeds
1 ½ Tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 Tsp Red chili powder
½ Tsp butter chicken masala
½ Inch Garam masala
pinch of jafrani garam masala (I used Shaan brand)
salt for taste
2 Tbsp oil
Chopeed coriander leaves for garnish
Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, ginger-garlic paste and saute till garlic leaves its raw smell. Add bay leaf, onion and saute till onion becomes pink. Add chopped tomatoes, cook till tomatoes gets mashed and leaves oil from sides. Add capsicum and remaining ingredients, mix well and add chopped paneer. Cover and cook for 8- 10 min.
Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot with roti, chapatti.
