Ingredients:
1 Cup soaked Sabudana/sago
1 medium size potato (peeled, chopped finely or in desired shape and washed)
3-4  green chilies chopped finely(or as per the taste)
1/4 Tsp cumin seed(optional)
4-5 Tbsp peanut powder
1 Tbsp chopped coriander(optional)
2-3 Tsp oil
salt for the taste
1 tsp sugar (optional)
1 Tsp lemon juice(optional)

Method:
In a kadhai heat oil on medium heat, add cumin seeds and let it splutter. Add potatoes saute for 3-4 min, sprinkle little salt, cover it and cook for 5-7 min. Now add green chilies, saute it. Meanwhile mix sabudana, peanut powder  and add it to kadhai. Add salt (keep in mind, we already added some salt to potatoes), sugar, mix well and cover it. Cook on medium low heat for another 5-6 minutes or till sabudana gets cooked.
Garnish with coriander, sprinkle some lemon juice and enjoy it or serve with yogurt without lemon juice.

Tip:
1) You can use red chilli powder instead of green chilies, but it will change the taste.
2) Some people thinks  cumin seeds, coriander and lemon juice should not be consumed in fast, so it is all optional.
3) I like my potatoes little caramelized, it taste very good in this khichadi.
4) Sugar adds taste to sabudana, but it is also optional.
