There is no words to describe my love for falafel. Falafel is traditional food of Middle Eastern. It is deep fried grounded beans ball which is served with pita bread, Hummus, Tahini sauce and salad.

Ingredients:
1 Cup Garbanzo beans/chole(washed and soaked over night or at least 8 hours)
3 to 4 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup chopped red onion
1/2 cup fresh parsley leaves
1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
1 green chilli
3 garlic cloves
¼ Tsp cumin
⅛  Tsp cinnamon (Optional)
1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
1  Tsp Salt or as per taste
½ Tsp freshly grounded black pepper

Method:
Drain water from beans, transfer in a food processor/mixi, combine all other ingredients . Grind it to coarse mixture. You can add water tbs by tbs if necessary. Remove the mixture into bowl.

Using your hands, Take about 2 tablespoons of the mixture at a time. and make lemon size balls. Meanwhile, In a kadhai, heat enough oil for deep frying. add 2-3 balls into kadhai and deep fry on medium- medium low heat until they becomes golden brown.

Enjoy with fresh pita bread, Hummus, Tahini sauce and fresh salad.

Tips:
1) Do not add water at a time of grinding. If mixture gets runny, add little besan/gram flour.
2) Do not fry falafel on high heat, they will not cook properly.
