Very easy to make… rich in flavor dish!!

Ingredients:
1 Cup brown basamati rice/brown jasmine rice/ white rice
4-6 Mint leaves/Pudina

Whole spice:
1/2 Inch cinnamon stick
1 Javitri
3-4 Whole black pepper
2 cloves
salt for taste
1 Tsp ghee
For tempering:
1/4 Cup  big onion (cut into long) or 1/2 of Small onion
1 garlic clove
1/4 inch ginger
1/4 Tsp shahi jeera
1-2 Tsp oil/ghee

Method:
Wash rice, 2-3 times. add all the whole spices, ghee. add 2 1/2 water, salt and cook as instructed on packet. meanwhile make ginger garlic paste. Once rice gets cooked.. let it cool for a while. In a pan heat oil, add shahi jeera, ginger garlic paste, saute till ginger garlic paste’s raw smell goes off. Now add onion and cook on medium- low heat till onions softened and little brown. Now add rice, mint leaves and mix well. cover and cook for 5 minutes, Garnish with chopped coriander and serve.
