Paneer bhurji with step by step photos…
Paneer bhurji is a delicious and spicy Indian dish which is cooked in some onion, tomatoes and spices. It is very easy to make and tastes awesome.

150 gm/1-1 1/4 cup scrambled or grated paneer/cottage cheese
1 Big Onion(finely chopped)
1 tomato(finely chopped)
4-5 Green chilies(depending on spiciness)(finely chopped)
4 garlic cloves
1/4 Inch ginger
1/2 Tsp cumin seeds
1/4 Tsp mustard seeds
1/2 Tsp coriander cumin powder
1/4 Tsp turmeric powder
1/2 Tsp garam masala powder
1/2 Tsp red chili powder(Optional)
1/2 tsp kasuri methi(Optional)
salt fro taste
1 1/2 Tbsp oil
chopped coriander

In a kadhai heat oil on medium flame. Add mustard seeds and let it splutter, meantime make ginger garlic paste. now add cumin seeds and ginger garlic paste, saute for 30-40 seconds and add chopped green chilies. Add chopped onion, add pinch of salt and cook till it becomes transparent or pink, Add chopped tomatoes.

Cook till tomato becomes mushy and leaves oil on the sides. Now add all the remaining ingredients except salt.

Mix and add grated paneer.

Add salt and mix well and cook for a minute. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve with toasted bread, roti, chapati or naan and enjoy!! 🙂

1)Do not cook panner for long, it becomes hard and looses its softness.
