800 gm salmon steak/fillet
2 1/2 Tsp ginger garlic paste
1 1/4th Tsp red chili powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/4th Cumin powder
1/4th Tsp coriander powder
1/4th Tsp garam masala
1/4th Tsp Turmeric
pinch of hing/asefoetida
1/2 Tbsp lemon juice
3/4th Tsp Salt
fine semolina for dusting
3/4th TBSP oil for frying

Wash salmon steak with running water, pat dry. In a bowl/plate mix all the ingredient together except oil and semolina. Apply the masala mixture to the salmon steak and keep aside for 30 minutes to 1 hour (keeping longer will add more taste). In a plate take semolina, dust salmon from all the sides. Heat iron pan/nonstick pan on low heat, add oil and fry  salmon steak for 7-10 minutes from both side. Serve with plain Quinoa or rice and salad.
