Lovers Point Park is located at the foot of 17th Street, Pacific Grove, CA. This park is perfect for a day outing with lots activities to do like picnic, fishing, swimming, water sports, and surfing. This place is very popular because of it’s unique east-facing location, it is also one of the only spots on the West Coast where we can watch the sun rise over the water.
Lovers Point’s has a large lawn area, a beach volleyball court, a children’s swimming pool, sandy beaches, rocky outcrops, a concrete pier structure, a restaurant, and a snack bar. It is popular for weddings, and is home of the annual Feast of Lanterns pageant and fireworks celebration. A reservation is required for Weeding and permits are necessary for sound amplification and tables, chairs, etc.
It is very nice to sit on the sand and watch bride and groom changing vows. This is a favorite spots for pre-wedding photo shoots.
